Hi, I’m Karen—the hands behind every piece.
My journey into woodworking started while restoring a 125-year-old heritage home. Working with reclaimed wood sparked something that stuck. I saw the character in every board and the potential to turn it into something meaningful for someone else’s home.
Today, that passion has grown into Rustic & Renewed Decor—where every piece is still built by hand, one at a time.

Every board is carefully selected and prepared for stability and longevity. I know where my materials come from, how they’ve been treated, and how to bring out their best character.

Most of what I create is made-to-order or fully custom—because your space isn’t generic, and your furniture shouldn’t be either.
You choose the size, wood, and finish. I take care of the rest.
Along the way, I keep you involved with updates and photos, so you’re not just buying a piece—you’re part of the process.
